38 Reed Bunting 38 reed buntings, plus c150 chaffinches [mostly females] on three fields below Pentowyn. The fields had root crops on them last year and the finches etc were feeding on weed seeds. No sign of a brambling or a yellowhammer though. A site worth watching if in the area- walk down green lane [Public RoW]. Good views of Taf Estuary [exactly opposite Laugharne] and can walk around to Craig Ddu cliffs if tide right.
